The mine train is the link between the surface and the mine. On its route, it first takes you through the lush vegetation that now covers the former open pit mines, then into the main tunnel, on a circuit of 4km of which 3km are underground. The battery electric locomotive and the carriages were built in 2016 and their large windows give you a glimpse at the underground tunnels even the miners themselves did not have.<\/p>\n
