Follow the guide into the abandonned tunnels of the Walert mine, more than 80m below ground. See the mining machines, experience the miners’ work and listen to the stories of more than 100 years of iron ore mining.

You meet your guide inside the exhibition building, where you are also given a helmet. You then board the mining train which takes your group underground for a tour on foot of about 1km, inside spacious tunnels on two different levels.

For groups, advance booking is required at least 48 hours before the selected date. You can select the time and language (Luxembourgish, French, German, English) of your tour. Maximum number of visitors per tour is 31.
