MNM Stammdësch : Conferences about the history of the “Minett”
11.12.2024Our museum has also scheduled a cycle of conferences on the history of regional iron ore mining for 2025. In a pleasant atmosphere, historians, witnesses and other specialists come to speak to shed more light on an aspect of history. Our conference meetings take place from January to April on the last Thursday of each month at 8:00 pm. We will inform you about the topics in a timely manner. Everyone is welcome. The participation is free of charge.
Rumelange: The day of St. Barbara in honor of the miners
5.12.2024The day of St. Barbara was celebrated in honor of the miners with a parade through the city, a memorial ceremony in front of the monument for the miners, a mass in our tunnel and a tasty lunch at the cultural center.

Security briefing 2024
27.03.2024Two weeks ago, the annual security briefing was held for our volunteers, guides, train drivers and staff. One group was led through the tunnel by the technical coordinator, Raymond Hoffmann, another by the coordinator of the collections and the guide, Denis Klein, and the head of the studio, Liam Schanck.
