MNM closed from 26 to 28 June On the weekend of June 26, 27 and 28, the MNM will remain closed for any form of sightseeing. Reason: The preparations and organization of the « Trail des Mines” where participants run through our mine to the finish. However, you are welcome to witness the finish line live on our premises from 11:00 am. Food and drinks are well provided.

We are pleased to welcome a new employee to the MNM. „Xavier“ will support our team in the administration and in the reception. We wish him much pleasure and success in carrying out his new tasks.    

In the run-up to the new season, which begins on April 1, 2026, all volunteers, guides, train drivers and the staff participated in our annual safety course. The course provided valuable training in firefighting and steam in the tunnel to ensure smooth and safe seasonal operation. Afterwards, the entire team was invited to a good meal at the “Brasserie du Musée”.
